Danny's 31st Birthday

For Danny's Birthday we went to dinner at Dos Amigos--mexican of course. After we came home and had the best Chocolate Cake EVER!! Danny got to shop for his own birthday present this year. He pooled all of his birthday money and finally bought an MP3 player. He practially stalked the mailbox for a week waiting for it to arrive.

Mackay's 7th Birthday Party--August 26, 2006

Mackay had a Movie party. We took him and six of his friends to the movie "How to Eat Fried Worms". It was funny and gross and the boys loved it. We came back to our house and had corn dogs and cake and ice cream. Mackay has been playing baseball so he picked a Minnesota Twins cake--chocolate of course! What a crazy fun day!

Picnic at Clif and Emily's House

We arrived at Clif's house Saturday afternoon. We had a great time eating and getting caught up with each other. The kids had fun playing games outside with Granny. They were so excited to see Granny and Grandpa, Uncles, Aunts, and cousins.

Family Photos on Ryan's Blessing Day

After baby Ryan was blessed we all took pictures out in Jared and Kirsten's front yard. It was a joke getting all ofthe kids to stay still. It's not a perfect picture but it speaks volumes. They were all having a great time being together.

Family Night --August 7, 2006

Photo Sharing - Upload Video - Video Sharing For Family night we went to Mr. Biggs to bowl but there ended up being a wait. Kirsten's Mom and Dad found this great bounce room down the hall from the lanes and the kids had a great time being wild and crazy.

Cheyene Mountain Zoo--Colorado Springs

On Wednesday we headed off to the zoo with Kirsten and Emily. We had a great time hiking up the mountain and checking out all of the animals. We have certainly forgotten how beautiful the mountains are and it was great to be close to them again.

Sophia and Mackay had such a great time with their cousins they can't wait to see them again. Sophia tells us all the time that she wants to go live by Whitney and Emma. She had such a great time playing with her "girl cousins".

Colorado Springs Trip

On Thursday Danny and I had our teeth cleaned at Jared's office. Between the two of us we had 22 cavities. Jared was gracious enough to come in on his day off and fill 20 of the 22 cavities. Thanks J--You're a MACHINE!

Bob and Neola watched the kids at Melissa's house while we had all of our dental work done. Afterward we all went minature golfing. The kids also had a great time playing in the arcade after. The adults also had a great time playing skee ball.

Uncle Wilburs Fountain--Colorado Springs

Melissa and Nate took us to this cool fountain in Colorado Springs. The kids had a blast running in the fountain and getting wet. Uncle Wilbur would pop out and music would play every 1/2 hour.

Mackay's Birthday Celebration in Colorado

After we returned from Uncle Wilbur's fountain Grandma and Grandpa gave Mackay his birthday present early and we had a little impromptu party.

Aunt Melissa was a fast thinker and made cupcakes for dessert and arranged them into a number 7. Kaden was cracking us all up as he begged for "happy cake".

Crazy Horse

We arrived in Custer, SD on Saturday afternoon and decided to check out Crazy Horse Monument. It was a great place to visit. They had some great museums, shops and Indian Tacos. After dark they also had a cool lazer light show on the mountain. The kids thought it was great.
